Stage Kiss

There’s a love I left when I was younger
Standing lonely in my mind
And every now and then I hunger
For the love I left behind

Oh if I could just caress her
Find some way to meet again
Let her know how much I miss her
Live the love I lived back then

There’s a love I left when I was younger
Before life made a man of me
And sometimes late at night I hunger
For the boy I used to be

Oh if I could just caress her
One more time—I’d never leave
But reminiscing I remember
The mysteries of make-believe

There’s a love I left when I was younger
And one day I’ll find her again
Then I’ll feed this hollow hunger
That will follow me till then
