An Alliterative Message to Matt

I ponder on my parted pal
So dearly deemed and dote-worthy

What wondrous works
What warming words
Want I to wend his way

Not knowing now
The things he thinks
Or does from dawn to dimming
I search to send some semblance of
The lingering love and longing
That harbors up the hollows
Of this humble, halting heart

What works would we
Embrace, enjoy involving
One another
When we could wind
The ticking tocks of time
And find a fleeting flicker
A moment more in maliced mires
Of millennial-maniced minds
To void this vicious vacuum
Of the barriers that bind

What with this wanton wonder
React, regain, retrieve
Call caucuses and cast asunder
The laws that led to leave
