The Ellis Army gathers
With sword and shield in hand
Bold and brave and faithful
Prepared to make a stand

Young and full of vigor
Confident and calm
True and trained and trusting
In the third-and-twenty Psalm

Deployed to every quarter
Boots shod upon the shore
In peaceful preparation
But marching as to war

Called to the join the battle
With helmet, belt, and plate
Chosen for this mission
Fostered for this fate

Looking toward their captain
So solid, sure, and sound
Trusting in his training
As he slumbers to the ground

The Ellis Army rises
And charges toward the tide
Strengthened by the angels
And their captain at their side
