Manic Mindy the Maligned Mailer
Manic Mindy mulled the morrow
Over and again
And then again
And then again
And then again again
She weighed the sense against the sorrow
And chose to go to Friends
And leave her friends
And other friends
And other friends of friends
Not knowing how she'll leave them now
Even those out of her will
With issues from the making fun
She's going to miss them still
She's born the dents with feigned offense
And magnified them all
From a line of gents with special mints
Who wait weekly on her call
And wondering if the one she's with
Will ever be the one
She dreams of guys to analyze
When her time in Zion's done
But as that draws near she sheds a tear
Over sweet rolls of the past
She'll miss the stress of CES
This workshop is her last
She'll miss the days of mailing craze
And the opportunity
To bug her boss with causes lost
Like trips to Germany
The Diet Cokes we super-sized
The fireman. The frat boys' ties
The lessons learned from Kaizan too
She wonders how she'll make it through
And so she manic mulls the morrow
Over and again
And then again
And then again
And then again again
She weighs the sense against the sorrow
And sees the friend she's been
Discerning then
That that won't end
When ending she begins again
